Wondering why You Can't Lose Weight

I am writing this article to help people answer the question, “why am i not losing weight”. This article will bring direction to people looking to reach a better quality of life by helping them improve their overall fitness level. As a personal trainer i have helped hundreds of people reach there goals and I will help you do the same. In order to help you i have come up with an easy equation to follow. Follow this and you will have success.
Equation is”:mindset+ resistance training+cardio+diet+ results”.
The first thing that you should focus on when trying to lose weight is having an overall positive mindset. Having a positive mindset will keep you on your path to better health and improved self-esteem. There are rough times that you will go through such as having cravings and things of that nature. Staying strong and motivated will get you over any hump or block in the road. Having or finding a successful fitness plan to follow will go a long way in helping you maintain a positive peace of mind. With a fitness plan you can track your progress or success. If you don”t have a way to track your progress now then that could be a huge reason why you have asked yourself,”why am I not losing weight”.
Resistance training (or (RT) for short) is the next part of the equation.  Resistance training is listed second in the equation because many people have a fear of weights and/or bands.People are afraid of the changes  this type of training can have on their bodies, but I feel that without RT, you will always fall short of your goal;  losing bad weight (body fat), while bettering your overall look.   RT is basically doing exercise in a manner that requires your muscles to work against an opposing force. The following are two examples of RT: pushups:   you are using your arms to lift your body off the ground, and step ups: you are using one leg to lift your bodies on to a bench.  RT is important because of the full use of your body’s range of motion, and remember, the amount of resistance used will determine the size and shape of your muscles. There are over 600 muscles in the body, and the only way to work them is through proper R T.  If you are not working them properly, then this can partly answer the question, why am I not losing weight.

Cardio is my nemesis. Please do not mistake what I am saying, I do not hate cardio, In fact, I was a sprinter in college and I still run today.  My issue with cardio, is the mentality that cardio is that people feel its all they have to do in order to become fit. The idea that all you have to do is get on the treadmill, elliptical, or Stairmaster for hours at a time and you will definitely get the results you are looking for. In my estimation 90% of the time you are wrong, if not more. Cardio should complement your workout. It should have a specific time that the workout will take, distance to be traveled, and the amount of days it will be repeated in relation to your R T.  The workouts should also vary or you will be upset with your lack of results as time passes.

Dieting is always a huge concern. I have listed this as the last part of the equation because out of everything, this causes the most problems. When trying to setup a proper diet, it is hard to figure out what foods to eat or how many calories you should be taking in to get the best results. If you add in the fact that you are a social bug on the weekends and like to have a drink or 2 or 3 or 4 and this throws everything out the window.  I wish I had an easy answer but I have found that the best diet is the one that is flexible and can be adjusted, so that if you get side tracked, you can get right back on.  I also found that those of you who listen to your friends about what they’re doing and not finding what your body needs, also falling short of your goals.  So in order to answer the question,” Why am I not losing weight”, when it come to dieting, I suggest you follow a plan that gives you meal portion sizes so that you know how much food you’re eating and the amount of calories you are taking in

In the end, the part that matters most is your results. So, let’s back track. In order to get results you need the proper mindset or plan. Since you have read this far, I know you are in the proper mindset. Earlier I said, using a 3 in 1 process will bring you ultimate success. By using a program that combines resistance training, cardio, and a great diet plan you will get results. It’s hard to find each element of fitness on your own, but because of my hard work and effort, there’s no need to. I found the best of the best programs for you. They all offer amazing programs that will walk you through step by step to the ultimate figure. Click on the link. Now you have no more excuses.
