Is The Master Cleanse Diet For Real?

Due to all the media hype, this has helped to boost the popularity of Master Cleanse. Celebrities such as Beyonce have used this diet to get into shape for movie roles.

But not many have really known about this diet that was created almost 60 years ago.

The Master Cleans diet was a program designed by alternative medicine practitioner Stanley Burroughs way back in 1941. According to him, the Master Cleanse diet can cure anyone with ulcers in a period of 10 days.

This is because the diet aims to detoxify the body of toxins that were stored up through smoking, drinking alcohol and eating unhealthily. This diet became known to the present dieters through author Peter Glickman.

The main premise of the diet is that dieters are only allowed to consume the lemonade; concocted with fresh lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper in water; for the entire time that the dieter wants to continue with the Master Cleanse diet.

Hand in hand with the lemonade, dieters will need to take in laxatives as well. This may come in the form of a tea but most people go with a salt water flush. Once a person takes in the salt water mixture, he will be able to excrete wastes that have been trapped inside his body for so long.

The MasterCleanse was set up to be a detoxifying diet. It works by allowing you to get rid of any stored toxins. Because it allows you to expel all the wastes you have kept inside, you will be also be able to cleanse your entire digestive tract. With the same logic, you will be able to cleanse your cells and your blood stream as well.

The first signs that will indicate how the master cleanse is working is that you will observe your acne clearing up. You will also be able to clean up your sinus cavity decreasing the likelihood of any respiratory diseases.
