Lose Weight Faster by Listening to Your Body

You see, everyone’s body reacts differently to the types of food they eat. One person may be able to eat ice cream every day, while another person may have to restrict themselves to having it just once a week or once a month. Likewise, some people can eat cheese with no problem, or rice and pasta and bread, while other people need to severely restrict how much of those types of foods they eat.
Usually the differences are caused by sensitivities to certain types of foods, preservatives, or additives.
Many people don’t realize for example, that their body has a low tolerance or sensitivity to milk products. So if they’re trying to lose weight and their current eating plan includes things like cottage cheese or milk, they may find themselves having a very difficult time losing weight.
Other people may have a low tolerance for gluten products, and when this is the case they may have a difficult time eating bread or pastries.
I’ve personally learned for example, that my body has a difficult time with rice. White rice specifically. If I eat too much white rice, I will become bloated and feel horrible. Sometimes I’ll even become slightly woozy from it. I don’t have this problem with other types of starches though. I can eat spaghetti and other types of noodles in moderation. If I eat too much of these of course, I will start having problems with gaining weight.
The simple act of learning these intricacies of your own body will help you to lose weight faster. So pay attention to how you feel after you eat certain foods. If you notice that you start gaining weight you’ve previously lost when you eat certain things, or you notice that you don’t feel as well as normal after you eat something specific, try limiting or removing that food from your diet and see how you feel then. You may find that when you have removed the problem foods, you start losing weight at a much faster rate. And you start feeling healthier, and more energetic too.
