One of the first concepts that comes into a person’s mind when they desire to burn some fat or lose some weight is the word dieting; a word I’m not very fond of. I have an aversion to this word because along with it, people have this defined conception that it is something with a rigid start date and a set termination date. I hate to be the one that pops your balloon but if you honestly want to attain lasting and sustainable health and fitness success, you need to begin assessing the lifestyle adjustments you are going to put into action for the long haul.

Everyone seems to be talking about Rush Limbaugh dramatic weight loss lately. Even the Liberals are taken back by how fast Rush has lost all they weight in a short amount of time. For months, Rush would not tell his listeners how he was able to lose it so fast. There is no telling how much weight he’ll lose with this program.

He sure had a lot of people guessing how he lost so much weight so fast. At one time, speculation was that he was sick. I heard others thought that Rush was using one of those Weight Loss trainers for the Stars.

Rush told his listeners recently what his weight loss secret was. As it turns out, the Limbaugh weight loss is credited to something really simple. Many were discouraged to find out there was no weight loss secret involved. Turns out he used a weight loss program known as Quick Weight Loss Centers. It’s a program that gives you prepared meals, kinda like NutriSystems.These are quick and easy meals that are already prepared for you and portioned out properly. All you do is heat them up and eat them.

In Rush’s case, he said that it was a very complex procedure and didn’t want to go into the nuts and bolts of it|For months, he brushed off callers who wanted to know how he manged to lose so much weight. QWLC’s site states they use a holistic plan as well as weight managers to help their clients drop the weight. This is almost a must for many people who’ve lost a large amount of weight.

There’s an old saying that goes something like ‘It isn’t losing weight that’s hard, it’s keeping it off’. No truer words have been spoken! I can tell you that from personal experience. So now everyone knows, what are we going to talk about now? The new season of The Biggest Loser Show?

A Guide To Lose Weight Fast

It’s not only professionals who know ways to lose weight fast, everyday folks have some ideas too. Later I will tell you which are the best weight loss guides that will help you to lose weight fast.

Eat grilled or boiled meat such as steak and chicken instead of fried meat.  Add red pepper to make it taste even better.

Give up the soda. If you consume a soda or two every day you are adding empty calories. If you find it hard to stop completely, cut back at first and drink water instead.  (Note that the average person adds 90,000 calories a year from drinking juice or soda.  Unbelievable!  That’s a superb tip).

Don’t buy junk food.  Shop from a list.  If you don’t have junk food at home you won’t eat it.

Give yourself a treat.  When you skip a food for a long time you end up craving it more, and eventually end up binging.  Taste a treat once a week, or even once a day in smaller quantities.  Don’t go crazy, keep it in moderation.

Trick yourself into being satisfied with less by using a smaller plate.  (Not only are you tricking yourself, even if the trick doesn’t work it’s easier to stop eating when the plate is finished and there’s no more food to eat.)

Rob the local mall and get caught.  They serve a low fat diet in prison.  (Only fooling!  That’s a bad idea.)

Stay well away from fad diets.  They starve you and then you binge when the diet is over.

Exercise at every opportunity, even at the desk with some leg lifts.  (That’s a great idea to increase caloric burn).

Measure your food.  If you have junk food be careful to measure and control the portion.  (Portion control is a big part of a healthy diet.  Most restaurants and even people at home serve portions that are too large.)

Get really sick.  After a month in the hospital I had lost 25 pounds.  (Another bad idea.  It’s best to stick to ways to lose weight while remaining healthy.  After all, the target goal is improved health.)

Stick to something long enough to repeat it a few times, then you can coast.  (It’s said that if we repeat a thing 21 times it becomes a habit.  Sometimes the number is different, but the idea is the same.  Will power is only needed to repeat something enough times for it to turn into a habit).

Eat at a leisurely pace.  The body doesn’t feel full as fast as you can eat, so people tend to eat beyond full.

These are all great tips from regular people just like us.  Most of them also happen to be common advice given by experts in safe weight loss.  It turns out ways to lose weight fast do exist, and they’re not something only professionals can understand.
